Robert Fabula grew up in Bayonne NJ. In 1965, when he was 17 years old, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, his older brother and twin brother were also serving. He served the next 4 years in Vietnam and received the National Defense Medal, Vietnam Campaign & Service Medals and a Good Conduct Medal. He was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant in 1969, the day before his 21st birthday.
He moved to Hampton Bays in 1998 along with his wife Susan of 41 plus years, He worked for the Town of Southampton for the next 11 years retiring in 2009. Robert is an active member of the American Legion Post 924 and Westhampton VFW Post 5350. He is very proud to have served his country as a Marine!
