On Monday, March 23, 2026, at about 7:29 pm the Southampton Town Police responded to the report of a motor vehicle accident at North Road and Montauk Hwy Hampton Bays. Upon arrival one of the vehicles involved did collide with a building causing damage to same. Upon interviewing the driver, Manuel Santos Cua, 34 years old of Riverhead, NY, and further investigation, he was found to have operated his motor vehicle in an intoxicated condition. Mr. Santos Cua was arrested and transported to Southampton Town Police Headquarters for processing where he was held for morning arraignment. Mr. Santos Cua was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated-Prior within 10 years(Felony) and numerous traffic infractions.
On Monday, March 24, 2026, at about 3:25 am the Southampton Town Police stopped a vehicle for numerous traffic infractions on Flanders Road. Upon further investigation the driver of the vehicle, Nestor Inga, 33 years old of Flanders, NY, was found to have operated the vehicle in an intoxicated condition. Mr. Inga was arrested and transported to Southampton Town Police Headquarters for processing where he was held for morning arraignment.
Mr. Inga was charged with Driving While Intoxicated(Misdemeanor) and traffic violations.
