Details: On Tuesday March 24th, 2026, at about 8:41 PM a Southampton Town police officer on patrol observed a 2009 Nissan traveling eastbound on Flanders Road failing to maintain its lane of travel. A traffic stop was conducted and further investigation done by officers on scene found the driver of that vehicle, a Wilson M. Uyaguari-Carchipulla age 49 of Mastic NY was operating in an intoxicated condition. He was arrested at the scene and then transported to police headquarters for processing. He is charged with Driving While Intoxicated (Felony), Aggravated DWI (Misdemeanor) and several traffic infractions. He was held overnight for morning arraignment at Southampton Town Justice Court.
