On February 19, 2026, at approximately 9:40p.m., the Southampton Town Police Communications Division received a report of an unknown individual inside a private residence in Bridgehampton, New York, causing a disturbance.  Southampton Town Police Department patrol officers responded to the scene.  

Subsequent investigation determined that an uninvited adult male, identified as a neighbor of the homeowner, had entered the residence while intoxicated, mistakenly believing it to be his home.  When confronted by the homeowner and asked to leave, the male became aggressive and refused to comply, further alarming the occupants.

The individual, identified as Frank Scott Raynor, 32 years of age, of Bridgehampton, New York, was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree, a misdemeanor.   Raynor was processed at Southampton Town Police Department Headquarters and held for morning arraignment.
