On Sunday, January 4th, 2026, Southampton Town Police report the arrest of Thomas C. Besch, 36, of Wading River. Besch was originally stopped in the area of CR94 in Riverside ffor committing several traffic violations. An investigation revealed Besch to have been operating the involved vehicle in an intoxicated condition. A DMV check also revealed that his license had been suspended several times.
Besch was arrested for Driving while intoxicated and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Second Degree, both Misdemeanors. He was processed at police headquarters and held for morning arraignment.
