Details:
On Sunday, December 28th, 2025 at about 6:24 PM, Southampton Town Police received a call of a vehicle operating erratically West bound on Flanders Rd in Flanders. Shortly after, a Southampton Town Police patrol officer observed a vehicle, matching the description. Upon further investigation the driver, Miguel YaxonColo, age 37 of Riverhead, NY, was found to be operating while intoxicated by alcohol. Mr. YaxonColo, was arrested and transported to Southampton Town Police Headquarters for arrest processing. He was charged with one count of Driving while Intoxicated (misdemeanor) and multiple violations of the Vehicle and Traffic Law and was held overnight to appear in Southampton Town Justice Court for morning arraignment.
