The Town of Southampton Youth Bureau is currently accepting applications for their Creative Arts Summer Camp at the Flanders Youth Center, 655 Flanders Road. Explore a variety of ways to express yourself through performing, comedy, music, drama, visual arts, and more! Program will feature field trips and workshops throughout 7 weeks from July 5th through August 19th (Monday – Thursday from 12:30pm – 5:00pm). Youth going into grades 5 - 8 are eligible to participate – Proof of grade is required (no exceptions). Camp registration fee is $600 for all 7 weeks (Price includes cost of field trips, workshops, snacks and supplies). Space is very limited and registration must be submitted by Friday, June 17th! Band applications are now available for the Southampton Youth Bureau’s 19th Battle of the Bands. This year’s competition will be held on Friday, June 10th (Rain Date: Friday, June 17th) from 8:00pm – 11:00pm at Ponquogue Beach in Hampton Bays. All applications and demo music must be received by 4:00pm on Friday, May 13th 2022 and can be sent or dropped off to:

Qualifying bands must have at least one high school student who resides in the Town of Southampton, and a band must consist of a minimum of 3 performing musicians. Join the Southampton Youth Bureau at the Flanders Youth Center, 655 Flanders Road every Friday for games & activities, arts & crafts, sports, movie nights, video game tournaments and more! Open to grades K – 4 from 4:00pm - 6:00pm and grades 5 - 8 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. Program is free to attend but space is limited and pre-registration is required! The Town of Southampton Youth Bureau is now accepting submissions for their Creative Arts Contest! This year’s theme is “New Beginnings”. Artists are encouraged to share their interpretation through art of what a new beginning could look like. The contest is open to students in grades 5 – 12 who reside or attend school in the Town of Southampton. Artwork will be judged on quality, creativity, and presentation based on the artist’s interpretation of “New Beginnings”. All art entries (maximum of two entries per artist) must be dropped off at the Southampton Youth Bureau’s main office at the Flanders Youth Center, 655 Flanders Rd by Friday, April 1st. Participating artists are invited to bring their families and friends to the final exhibit at the Parrish Art Museum, 279 Montauk Hwy on Friday, May 6th from 6pm – 7pm. Prizes will be awarded to the “Best Art Piece” in the categories of photography, graphic art, sculpture, and free-hand. For more information, please call (631) 702-2425.
