On Sunday, March 1st, 2026, at approximately 2:59 P.M. a vehicle was observed idling partially blocking the roadway near Magee Street in Southampton. A Southampton Police Officer made contact with the vehicle's operator, and upon further investigation, the driver, identified as Jonnathan S Guarangopillco, age 27, of North Sea, New York, was found to be operating the motor vehicle while intoxicated. Mr. Guarangopillco was arrested and transported to Southampton Police Headquarters for processing. He was charged with Driving While Intoxicated (misdemeanor) and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 2nd degree (misdemeanor), along with several traffic infractions. Mr. Guarangopillco was processed and held for a morning arraignment.
