Acquired by the Town in July 1952, this charming beach is a favorite destination for families, boasting more than 600 feet of oceanfront. Ponquogue Beach frequently reaches full capacity on summer weekends. The facility underwent a complete renovation in 2019. Amenities include lifeguard services, restrooms, an outdoor shower, a food concession stand, a spacious deck with picnic tables, beach volleyball courts, accessible beach access, a beach wheelchair (available when an attendant is present), and a total of 478 parking spaces on the ocean side, along with an additional 84 overflow spaces on the bay side.
