National Night Out –

at Red Creek Park in Hampton Bays

FREE!! National Night Out is a community-police awareness-raising event which is held annually in the United States. Meet your local police officers and learn about the different programs being offered in our community!

Open Mic Night - Grades 5 - 12 

On Friday, August 9th, from 6:30pm - 9:00pm

Youth in grades 5 - 12 will have the opportunity to showcase their talents by performing live at the amphitheater in Good Ground Park, 9a Squiretown Rd from 6:30pm - 9:00pm. Acoustic performers, bands, spoken word, poetry and comedic acts are welcome to participate. Performing is absolutely free. Movie Night at Good Ground Park
Free and Families are welcome to attend!


The Southampton Youth Bureau and the Hampton Bays Public Library will be sponsoring a movie night at Good Ground Park, 9a Squiretown Rd on Thursday, August 15th at 8:00pm with a showing of “Night at the Museum”. Admission is free and families are welcome to attend! Popcorn will be served. Pool Nights at SYS 

Mondays for grades K – 4 and on
Thursdays for grades 5 – 12 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm

Youth in grades K – 12 are invited to have fun swimming, playing sports, video games, air hockey & much more at the SYS Recreation Center, 1370a Majors Path beginning Monday, July 8th and ending on Thursday, August 22nd. The pool is open on Mondays for grades K – 4 and on Thursdays for grades 5 – 12 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm. Roundtrip transportation is available for $2 from the Flanders Community Center, 655 Flanders Rd. Teen Nights at Ludlam Park

Grades 7 -12 

Wednesdays, from 7:30pm – 11:00pm

The Southampton Youth Bureau’s Wednesday Night Teen Nights at Ludlam Park are back! Teens in grades 7 -12 are invited to hang out and participate in numerous activities which include basketball, soccer, baseball, games, crafts, food, DJ/live music, and more! In the event of inclement weather, the program will be moved indoors at the Flanders Youth Center, 655 Flanders Road. The fun begins Wednesdays, July 3rd – August 28th from 7:30pm – 11:00pm. KARATE CLASSES

Open to ages 5 - 12
Thursday from 6:00pm - 7:00pm

The Southampton Youth Bureau offers Karate classes at the Flanders Youth Center, 655 Flanders Rd every Thursday from 6:00pm - 7:00pm. Classes are taught by international coach & instructor Falah Kanani. Program is open to ages 5 - 12 and pre-registration is required.
