Band Applications are due this Friday, May 10th! 

The Southampton Youth Bureau’s 17th Annual Battle of the Bands competition will be held on Friday, June 14th 2019 (Rain Date: Friday, June 21st) at Ponquogue Beach in Hampton Bays from 8:00pm – 11:00pm. All applications and demo music must be received by 4:00pm this Friday, May 10th 2019 and can be sent or dropped off to the Flanders Youth Center, 655 Flanders Road. Band applications and demo music may also be emailed to Peter Strecker at Qualifying bands must have at least one high school student who resides in the Town of Southampton, and a band must consist of a minimum of 3 performing musicians. Parents will learn effective parenting strategies and the signs of addiction from the experts, discuss the dangers of vaping, smoking, alcohol use and misuse of opioids, see a Narcan demonstration, and will take home resource kits to share with other parents in their schools.
