Ski & Snowboard Trip

The Town of Southampton Youth Bureau is sponsoring a ski and snowboard trip to Ski Butternut in Great Barrington, Massachusetts on Saturday, January 26, 2019 for youth 12 years old and up (grades 7 – 12) or younger with an adult. **Pre-registrations for the trip must be submitted by Friday, January 11, 2019 and participation is available on a first come, first served basis. ** A fee of $100 includes lift ticket and transportation.

Bus will depart from Red Creek Park (Hampton Bays) at 5:00am and return to Red Creek Park at approximately 10:00pm. 6th Annual
Hamptons Got Talent Auditions 


The Town of Southampton Youth Bureau will be holding open auditions for their annual Hamptons Got Talent Competition on Friday, January 25th in the auditorium at Southampton Town Hall, 116 Hampton Road and on Monday, February 4th at the Flanders Community Center, 655 Flanders Road. Auditions will run from 4:30pm – 6:30pm on both dates. Students in grades 5-12, who reside and/or attend school in Southampton Town are eligible to enter.  Solo artists, bands, dance groups, poets, magicians, comedians, and other artistic acts are encouraged to audition. If a contestant chooses to sing at an audition, he or she must be prepared to bring music without vocals. Auditions for MC will also be held on both dates as well.  Finalists selected will perform in the 6th Annual Hamptons Got Talent Competition which will be held on Saturday, April 6th (Inclement Weather Date: Friday, April 12th) in the auditorium at the Hampton Bays High School, 88 East Argonne Rd. Video Game Tournament

The Southampton Youth Bureau and the Hampton Bays Library Teen Center will be hosting a Video Game Tournament on Saturday, February 2nd at the Hampton Bays Public Library, 52 Ponquogue Ave. Registration begins at 10:30am and the tournament will start at 11:00am SHARP. Pre-registration is $5 by Friday, February 1st or $10 at the door. The tournament will include games such as NBA Blacktop 2K19, Injustice 2, Just Dance 2019, Super Smash Brothers Ultimate, Gran Turismo Sport, Mortal Kombat XL, Call of Duty Black Ops 4, and Mario Kart 8. Tournament is open to grades 5 – 12 and participants will be divided into middle and high school brackets.  Winners in each bracket will be entered to win a Nintendo Switch gaming console, courtesy of the Hampton Bays Public Library. Additional prizes will also be awarded in each bracket.  All participants who wish to play M rated games must have a permission slip signed by a parent/guardian. Transportation is available from the Westhampton Free Library (must call for a reservation by January 25, 2019).
