Lifeguards - Monday & Thursday, 5:00pm – 8:00pm at SYS, 1370a Majors Path
$15/hr   July 5th – August 23rd
 
Van Driver – Saturdays, 6:30 am – 9:00 am,
July 7th-October 20th
(Some Heavy Lifting Required) $15 hr.

Seasonal Program Coordinator -  
Under the supervision of the Youth Bureau Director, this position will be responsible for the overall coordination of Youth Bureau’s summer program schedule.   

Position is full time - seasonal, 40 hours per week, beginning in early June and ending mid-September, flexible schedule Monday through Friday. 

Responsible for supervising all summer programs, planning and coordinating program activities, procuring and maintaining program supplies, maintaining communication between staff of various programs, and coordinating special events. Additional responsibilities are ensuring program safety, communicating with program participants and families, and coordinating with other Youth Bureau staff. 

Must have a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience conducting recreational program and studied recreation or physical education from an accredited college. BA preferred. $15 hr.

Battle of the Bands

16th Annual Battle of the Bands
On Friday, June 8th 

Gates will open at 7:00pm with special guest performances and the Battle of the Bands will begin promptly at 8:00pm. 

Seven local high school bands will rock out at Ponquogue Beach in Hampton Bays and compete for great prizes courtesy of Sam Ash Music Stores, Guitar Center, We’ll Floor “U”, Rumba Restaurant, Hampton Coffee Company, Bay Street Theater, Splish Splash Water Park, Chipotle – Riverhead location, Tanger Outlets, Spring & Summer Activities, ZIN Records, and more!

Throughout the night, audience members will also have a chance to win prizes by answering music trivia questions. Admission is $5 at the door and concession will be available. In the event of bad weather conditions, the 16th Annual Battle of the Bands will be rescheduled for Friday, June 15th. Concert in the Park

“Concert in the Park”
has been rescheduled!

 
On Sunday, June 10th (Rain Date: Saturday, June 16th) local acoustic acts will perform at Good Ground Park’s amphitheater in Hampton Bays from 4:00pm – 6:00pm.

Featured artists will include Lindsay Dunn, Christiaan Padavan, Juan Munoz, James Puccio, Caleb Brenes, with a special guest performance by Jeff Allegue from New Life Crisis.
