Summer Days Registration
Now Open!

The Southampton Youth Bureau is accepting applications for their Summer Days program at The Flanders Youth Center, 655 Flanders Road. This year’s theme is Science! Each week we will explore a different area of science through experiments, crafts, cooking and weekly fieldtrips. Program begins July 2nd and ends August 23rd and will be held Monday –Thursday from 12:30pm – 5:00pm. Youth going into grades 5 - 8 are eligible to participate - Proof of grade is required.

Camp registration fee is $550/8 weeks (Price includes cost of field trips, lunch and supplies).

Registration fee will be $500 per child if enrolled by Friday, April 27th.

Creative Arts Contest

Exhibit & Reception Saturday, May 12th from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm at the Flanders Community Center, 655 Flanders Rd. This year’s theme is “Diversity”. Contest is open to grades 5 – 12 and prizes will be awarded to “Best Art Piece” in the categories of Photography, Graphic Art, Sculpture, and Free-Hand.

All art entries must be received by Monday, April 30th.

Open Rec Night & Escape Room

Friday, May 4^th from 7:30 pm – 10:00 pm at the SYS Recreation Center, 1370a Majors Path. If you’re in grades 5 -12, then come on out to play basketball and Ultimate Frisbee! If you’re daring, make sure you register a team and check out the Southampton Youth Bureau’s Escape Room, inspired by the hit Netflix Series ‘Stranger Things’. Solve clues, puzzles, and riddles in order to find a way to escape.

Admission is $5 and roundtrip transportation is available for $2.

Battle of the Bands Application Deadline Approaching!

Band applications are now available for the Southampton Youth Bureau’s 16th Annual Battle of the Bands. This year’s competition will be held on Friday, June 8th 2018 (Rain Date: Friday, June 15th) at Ponquogue Beach in Hampton Bays from 8:00 pm – 11:00 pm. All applications and demo music must be received by 4:00 pm on Friday, May 11th 2018 and can be sent or dropped off to: BATTLE OF THE BANDS – YOUTH BUREAU, 116 Hampton Road, Southampton, NY 11968 or emailed to: southamptonyouthbureau@gmail.com.
*Qualifying bands must have at least one high school student who resides in the Town of Southampton, and a band must consist of a minimum of 3 performing musicians.*

Concert in the Park

Sunday, May 20^th from 4:00pm – 6:00pm at Good Ground Park in Hampton Bays. Featured artists include Lindsay Dunn, Christiaan Padavan, Juan Munoz, James Puccio, with a special guest performance by Jeff Allegue from New Life Crisis. Event is free and open to the public.
