The Town of Southampton is exploring an upcoming bid to consider electricity supply options.

Choice Community Power is a community choice aggregation (CCA) program that enables municipal leaders to leverage the purchasing power of residents and small businesses to negotiate more favorable terms on their electricity supply, protect consumers and support renewable generation sources.

If the Town selects an electricity supplier, eligible residents and businesses will receive a letter in fall 2023 with info about the program, their choices, and info about how to opt-out.
