South Fork Commuter Connection Service Suspended as part of LIRR trip reduction plan
Effective Friday morning, March 27th, the South Fork Commuter Connection (SFCC) train and bus service will be suspended until further notice.
The MTA/Long Island Rail Road has announced a reduction in their overall train schedule by 35%, due to a significant drop in ridership related to the Coronavirus situation.
All four SFCC train trips have temporarily been eliminated as part of their service reduction plan. As a result, the shuttle bus service linked to these trips will also stop operating until further notice.
Information on other impacted MTA/LIRR train-transportation services can be found on their website.
