[ARCHIVED] LIRR NOTIFICATION: Flying Point Road, Southampton

The Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) strives to be a good neighbor by keeping you informed of improvements that promote safety and reliability. To complete grade crossing rehabilitation repaving is scheduled on the LIRR's Montauk Branch in the following area: 

TOWN OF SOUTHAMPTON: Tuesday, April 16, from 9PM to 6AM 

  • Flying Point Road /County Road 39 Grade Crossing will be repaved
  • Partial road closures as we are doing repaving two lanes at a time
  • During those hours vehicles will use David Whites Lane (1st crossing west) for alternate access
