  1. Creative Arts Contest: Climate Change (Updated Contest Guidelines)

    April 10, 2020 - 12:00 PM @ Flanders Youth Center

    The Southampton Youth Bureau’s getting the conversation started about Climate Change through this year’s Creative Arts Contest. The contest is open to students in grades 5 – 12 who reside or attend school in the Town of Southampton. Artwork will be judged on quality, creativity, and presentation based on the artist’s portrayal of “Climate Change”. To submit artwork, upload your artwork to Instagram and tag the Southampton Youth Bureau @southamptonyb or email it to (maximum of two entries per artist). Submissions are due by Friday, May 1st. All submitted artwork will be displayed on the Southampton Youth Bureau's Instagram, Date TBA. Prizes will be awarded to the “Best Art Piece” in the categories of photography, graphic art, sculpture, and free-hand. For more information, please call (631) 702-2425.

  2. Band Applications Available: 18th Annual Battle of the Bands

    April 10, 2020, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM @ Flanders Youth Center

    Band applications are now available for the Southampton Youth Bureau’s 18th Annual Battle of the Bands. This year’s competition will be held on Friday, June 5th (Rain Date: Friday, June 19th) at Ponquogue Beach in Hampton Bays from 8:00pm – 11:00pm. All applications and demo music must be received by 4:00pm on Friday, May 8th 2020 and can be sent or dropped off to:

    Qualifying bands must have at least one high school student who resides in the Town of Southampton, and a band must consist of a minimum of 3 performing musicians.
